Hemet San Jacinto Interfaith Council

THE MISSION STATEMENT AND THE PURPOSE OF THE HEMET-SAN JACINTO INTERFAITH COUNCIL IS:

1. Promote mutual understanding and respect among all Faiths;

2. Share the members’ concerns and deal with the issues that affect out Communities, our Nation and our World;

3. Serve the needs of our Faith Communities in the Valley.

For over thirty years the Faith Communities via the Interfaith Council have provided a wide variety of support in our Community. Here are a few of the programs and events that we sponsor: Lecture Series, Thanksgiving Services, Holiday “Meet and Greet”, Evening of Music, Holocaust Remembrance, Religious Under standing Day, First Peoples Day, Exchange Club Flag Project, various food pantry’s, Community Service Projects, MSJC events, Interfaith Choir, Salvation Army service projects, Drug Awarness Programs, NAMI events and over forty Faith Communities provide dinners daily for Valley Restart.

Individually the Faith Communities reach out in kindness, service and caring.

We do this as volunteers and concerned citizens to magnify our Mission Statement and because we value this beautiful Valley in which we live.
